Love Stings is the fourth book in historical series The Home Office Lords and takes place a few days after the beginning events of book three, Wings of Freedom.
The Home Office is quickly losing operatives. Charles Hawkly fell to love and has since gone on his wedding trip, Stephen Blakely is off in America chasing after the man who kidnapped a prominent lord’s daughter, and Emmett Davenport along with his colleague Edgar Cortland are being sent on missions crucial to the Foreign Office. Like Lor’s other three books, Love Stings left me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. It’s written so well that it’s like watching a movie – I could just picture the characters as I read the pages. Can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next. Awesome book!
